Many consider Pyramid Peak's exposure as exciting, if not more than that of Capitol Peak. Pyramid is a great peak for ones' first foray into the "technical" peak category.
Located in the heart of the Elk Mountains, climbing Capitol Peak is an overnight mountaineering experience. It is considered the most challenging 14,000' peak in Colorado.
An ideal beginner 14'er that still offers an exciting summit ridge with breath taking views. This peak is well suited for snow or ski ascent/descents for much of the year.
Snowmass Peak truly has one of the most scenic approaches and camping spots of all of Colorado's 14,000' peaks. Unique in that it offers a near year round alpine snow climb ascent.
Considered the largest single mountain (by circumference) in Colorado. Mount Sopris is a great introductory mountain for those new to altitude or mountain climbing.
With no experience necessary, come climb rock. We'll take you from the ground up to new heights among the spectacular granite crags on Independence Pass.
