Lift-served backcountry skiing

One of the secrets and pleasures of Aspen/Snowmass is the lift-served backcountry skiing/riding available just beyond the boundaries of the ski resorts.

 

Aspen Expeditions, a White River National Forest Service permittee, has been guiding the winter backcountry since 1976. AE has a unique relationship with the Aspen Skiing Company to access the backcountry from near the summits of the ski areas.

Our professional IFMGA/AMGA trained or certified ski mountain guides have been guiding beyond Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and even Buttermilk for over 20 years.
