Colorado 14,000' Peak Ascents

Ranging from conditioning "hikes" up Mt. Sopris or Castle Peak to technical routes on Capitol Peak, Pyramid Peak and the Maroon Bells; Aspen Expeditions has guided these peaks safely for nearly twenty-five years and our knowledge of the mountains will add security and enjoyment to your adventure plans.

Rates vary with the group size and the routes/mountain guided. Please inquire for additional information.

North Maroon Bells Peak
Climb the classic 14,000' North Maroon Peak in one day. Considered to be one of the most photographed peaks in the world!

South Maroon Bells Peak
Climb the classic remote 14,000' South Maroon Peak in one day. This mountain offers great potential for an early season snow ascent/descent of the classic South Couloir ("Y" Couloir), considered by many as one of the finest snow climbs in Colorado.

Pyramid Peak
Many consider Pyramid Peak's exposure as exciting, if not more than that of Capitol Peak. Regardless, your reward for reaching the summit will be unmatched views of The Maroon Bells and the surrounding Elk Mountains. Pyramid is a great peak for ones first foray into the "technical" peak category, with its quick access it allows for a shorter day.

Castle Peak
An ideal beginner 14'er that still offers an exciting summit ridge with breath taking views. In addition this peak is well suited for ski ascent/descents for much of the year.

Snowmass Peak
Snowmass Peak truly has one of the most scenic approaches and camping spots of all of Colorado's 14,000' peaks. Unique in that it offers a near year round alpine snow climb ascent.

Capitol Peak
Climb Capitol Peak! Considered by many to be the most challenging 14,000' peak in Colorado. Experience the famed "Knife-edge Ridge"

Mount Sopris
Considered the largest single mountain (by circumference) in Colorado. This peak is not to be missed. Mount Sopris is a great introductory mountain for those new to altitude or mountain climbing
