Climb the classic remote 14,000' South Maroon Peak in one day. This mountain is often ideal early season as a snow ascent/descent of the classic South "Y" Couloir.
Many consider Pyramid Peak's exposure as exciting, if not more than that of Capitol Peak. Pyramid is a great peak for ones' first foray into the "technical" peak category.

Located in the heart of the Elk Mountains, climbing Capitol Peak is an overnight mountaineering experience. It is considered the most challenging 14,000' peak in Colorado.
Considered the largest single mountain (by circumference) in Colorado. Mount Sopris is a great introductory mountain for those new to altitude or mountain climbing.
