Our professional AMGA trained and/or certified mountain guides excel at teaching and guiding. On a custom basis tailored to meet your needs and expectations, our guides can teach you techniques such as setting anchors, securing belay stations, movement on rock, setting up secure rappels, preparing for lead climbing, self-rescue techniques, proper knots, and more.

Typical Itinerary

Itinerary

- Meet your mountain guides at Aspen Expeditions (at Aspen Highlands Village or a designated location in Aspen) around 9 AM. Get fitted for climbing shoes, harness & helmet. Head up to Independence Pass (10-15 min. drive). Depending on your experience, the guide will determine the best location & climbs suited for your safety and enjoyment. The day includes a break for lunch in this scenic setting.
