Peaks of the Cordillera Blanca - Peru
High Summits in Peru's Cordillera Blanca

The Andes of Peru are the highest, most glaciated tropical mountains in the world. The famed Cordillera Blanca (White Range) contains some of the world's most stunning mountains and challenging climbs. Peru's Himalayan-like topography has long been drawing trekkers and climbers from all over the world. Our Peaks of Peru itinerary is highly recommend for those who want to improve their climbing level and look to take the next step towards a big Himalayan expedition. Our climbing trips are led by professional UIAGM/AMGA certified climbing guides from Aspen Expeditions.

Our main objective of this challenging itinerary is Chopicalqui (20,850ft.) As one of Peru's tallest peaks, Chopicalqui offers a striking high altitude ascent. Prior to our climb of Chopicalqui and to aid in our acclimatization, we will attempt Pisco Oeste (18,873 ft.) and Ishinca (18,138 ft.)
