Mount Sopris
1 Day Summit Climb (12,998')

Standing as a solitary giant guarding the entrance to Aspen and the Roaring Fork valley, one can not help but notice Mount Sopris. Just a couple of feet shy of being a 13'er, do not get fooled by it's lower elevation. This is a big and beautiful mountain. Done in a day, this will be a physical challenge for most.

For families or those new to altitude, a 2 day option with a camp at Thomas Lakes would be ideal.

Your reward for reaching the summit is stunning views of the North Face of Capitol Peak, Elk and Ragged mountain ranges.
