Ice Climbing Intro
Climb a Frozen Waterfall!

Ice climbing is a unique climbing experience. Using technical ice tools and crampons to climb frozen waterfalls in a safe and controlled environment is fun and cool!

With no experience necessary, our AMGA trained or certified guides can take you out for a day of introductory waterfall ice climbing. We will outfit you with all the necessary equipment and show you how to use the technical ice tools.

Just 10 minutes downvalley from Aspen is an ideal area for the first time ice climber. Here we will introduce you to "two tool" ice clmbing techniques and the associated gear required to climb a frozen waterfall.

For the more advanced climber, consider multi-pitch routes in nearby Marble or Redstone, or Colorado's famous ice climbs around Vail and Ouray, Colorado.
