Experience the ultimate; a privately guided scenic ski tour to a remote mountain hut where upon arrival a private Chef awaits to serve you a culinary experience.

The huts/cabins are ideal for their ease of access from downtown Aspen and their proximity to pristine backcountry skiing. They are situated in the heart of the majestic Elk Mountain Range. These cozy off-the-grid mountain huts are solar powered, have wood burning stoves, and comfortable interiors.


The private Chef will prepare a meal based around favorite flavors. Sample menu items are provided yet the exact menu will be determined by seasonal availabilities, group size, and of course, group preferences. Please contact us for more details and availabilities.

    Appetizers:
    • -Blackened Ahi and Avocado Roll
    • -Pistachio Crusted Colorado Rack of Lamb
    • -Creole Crab Cakes with Roasted Red Pepper Lemon Aioli

    Main Courses:
    • -Elk Mountain Maharaja Stew
    • -Portabella Mushroom, Eggplant, and Chipotle Buffalo Stroganoff, Hut Made Garlic Bread
    • -Apricot, Candied Walnut, Spinach, and Spicy Black Bean Risotto Stuffed Squash (W/Andouille Sausage for the non-vegan)

    Dessert:
    • -Fresh Fruit, Mint, and Grand Marnier tart
    • -Cookies, Brownies, and Chocolate Mousse
    • -Apple Crisp and Vanilla Ice Cream

Itinerary

One Night Sample Itinerary - Day 1: Meet your guide and chef, get geared up, and start skinning to the hut. Upon arriving at the hut there will be time to explore the immediate area surrounding the hut, work on winter touring skills, or simply relax on the deck and enjoy appetizers while your chef prepares dinner.
Day 2: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before packing up and skiing down the trail back to Aspen

Multi-Night Sample Itineary - Day 1: Meet your guide and chef, get geared up, and start skinning to the hut. Upon arriving at the hut there will be time to explore the immediate area surrounding the hut, work on winter touring skills, or simply relax on the deck and enjoy appetizers while your chef prepares dinner.
Day 2: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before packing up and skinning to the next hut on the route. This second day is an opportunity for you to enjoy a full day in the remote wilderness of the Elk Mountains, and of course, another gourmet meal prepared for you while you relax on the deck in your comfy hut slippers.
Day 3: Another breakfast at the hut and then a ski back to the real world (well back to Aspen at least).
