Climb a Frozen Waterfall!

Ice climbing is a unique climbing experience using technical ice tools and crampons to climb frozen waterfalls in a safe and controlled environment. It is fun and cool! With no experience necessary our AMGA trained or certified guides can take you out for a day of waterfall ice climbing. We will outfit you with all the necessary equipment and show you how to use the technical water ice tools.

Just 10 minutes downvalley from Aspen is an ideal area for the first time ice climber. This nearby location is excellent for begining and intermediate ice climbing. Here we will introduce you to "two tool" ice clmbing techniques ulitizing the associated gear to climb a frozen waterfall.

For the more advanced climber we can take you to secluded multi-pitch routes near Marble or Redstone, less than one hour from Aspen. We can also take you to some of Colorado's famous ice climbs around Vail and Ouray Colorado.
